Getting to Highwood
Highwood is located on the North Shore east of Route 41 between Highland Park and Lake Forest. We are less than thirty minutes away by car from many Lake/Cook county communities, including Libertyville, Lake Bluff, Riverwoods, Deerfield, and Evanston. In addition, Highwood has two Metra stations on the Union Pacific North Line - the downtown Highwood and Fort Sheridan stations. With ample parking and frequent commuter train service, spending a day or evening in Highwood is a great way to enjoy time with family and friends.
